Fanny Jane Knox

Fanny Jane Knox was the daughter of William Knox and Lucinda Knox, nee Armstrong. She was brought up on a farm at Drumawark, a township of Pettigo in County Donegal, Ireland.

She was born in 1859 and married James Bell in 1888, whereupon she moved to Coleraine.

Her husband was a customs officer, and according to census records, so was she. For a while they moved to Campbeltown in Scotland where my grandmother was born in 1894. The family returned when my grandmother was two.

Her children were William, Lucinda (Lucy), and Anne Elizabeth (my grandmother).
